I was thinking when cats spar they do a little striking and a little wrestling. I tried to find some videos but instead found these cute videos of Cat vs. Puppy. In the first one the cat is much bigger and can just throw out a paw. The puppy walks away.

In the second video, the cat shows off some good mma skills, striking, fighting from its back – the dog takes its back and the cat somehow goes to a “guard” and springs right up from its back, dang – and a little clinch work right at the end:

That cat shows off quite a range of skills. Apparently “Tiger style” kungfu is not so ridiculous.

Finally, here was one of my search results of two kittens doing some ground fighting practice. The ending from another kitten entering the picture is really unexpected and apparently stops the fight.
