Here is a good interview with Rafael Lovato, Jr., the second American after BJ Penn to win the BJJ world championships at the black belt level. The interview is done by some judo guys who aren’t exactly professional dj’s and that makes the interview better. One of them describes rolling with Lovato, saying the pressure from Lovato was light at all times. Lovato describes how he tries to be as technical as he can be. He talks about what he is learning from judo and answers questions on comparisons and contrasts with bjj. He also has a boxing and JKD concepts background under his father and Richard Bustillo. Cool. This guy will probably be competing in mma sooner or later.
