I am trying to learn about acupressure as an adjunct to qigong. It seems remarkably simple and effective. The treatment method is to just hold the points. It also seems much more specific.

The main points are part of the Strange Flows, apparently so-named because they do not follow meridian channels, but intersect them.

Various points are useful for treating specific parts of the bodies. Because it seems more specific (literally a point), it seems easier (after finding the point) to use than qigong, which seems more vague, at least to me at the moment.

I just tried some experimentation with points affecting the nasal passages, chest, and kidneys. Unless I am the most psychosomatically-suggestible person, it’s very weird, but I could feel effects immediately. Hmm….
