I think I need to do some flexibility exercises again. I guess I’ve been over enthusiastic about zhan zhuang for a few weeks. I went to a yoga class today and didn’t feel too flexible. I normally feel that way at yoga classes but today I seemed more stiff than usual. Could just be that I haven’t been to yoga or done any real stretching for a long time. I hope zhan zhuang isn’t making me stiff. It doesn’t feel like it. I’m pretty sure I just need to do a wide variety of exercises now that I seem to have acquired a good habit for zhan zhuang every day. On the plus side, balance poses like “tree” seemed easier and more relaxing than usual.
